Rebecca Brown and her family have a passion for excellent trauma-based therapy because they’ve personally experienced profound healing and transformation as a family through this medium. Their son, at the age of 16, was facing a battle with addiction. He was able to attend Capstone, a residential treatment center for young men based in Arkansas. This experience not only brought them healing, but also shifted the trajectory of Rebecca’s and her son’s vocations. Both of them have gone on to pursue masters degrees in clinical psychology with the goal of becoming licensed clinical counselors (and they are both very close to accomplishing these goals!). Rebecca met the Moyes family, the founders of The Sanctuary, through a trauma training they were both participating in about 5 years ago. They instantly connected over their mutual passion to bring healing to others through quality trauma-based therapeutic care. The Browns have been some of the earliest supporters of the Sanctuary and they’ve even had a chance to visit the ranch in Wyoming. They are so grateful they were able to find Capstone for their son and family, and they are aware that there is a huge need for excellent treatment centers for girls and young women who have been through trauma and hardships. They deeply believe in the mission of The Sanctuary, and they are thrilled to be a part of Reclaiming Hope together as that dream that was once so far off is now coming to life. - Rebecca Brown
The Jackalope Motor Lodge is a family run, road-side boutique hotel on main street in Pinedale, Wyoming. Tyler and Kayleigh Hofer bought the Jackalope in 2021. Over the past three years they have fully remodeled the property, transforming it into the perfect place to ‘stay legendary’ as guests prepare for their next Wyoming adventure. The Hofer's story of discovering Pinedale and the JML is directly tied to The Sanctuary and their friendship with the Moyes family. Kayleigh currently serves as the Executive Director of Reclaiming Hope, and it is an honor for the Jackalope to be another space in Pinedale for people from all over the world to learn about Reclaiming Hope and The Sanctuary’s story.
